Database Analyst

Job Description
• To analyze customer data, and to consequently configure, populate, model, and implement databases of the Capital Planning Technology solutions.
Who we are looking for
A qualified candidate must possess:
- IT related degree or certification
- Must have excellent knowledge on standard database concepts, practices and procedures.
- Experience in visual modeling using Entity-Relation modeling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical models), using ERwin or equivalent
- 1-3 years of "Hands-on" database development with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in the development of database functions, scripts, procedures and packages for Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience in providing analysis and developing ad hoc reports and queries.
- Experience in test and deploy scripts, functions, procedures and packages across all environments.
- Experience in providing assistance to developers in application development, data conversion and migration process.
- Advanced data manipulation skills in MS Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables, external data ranges, and array formulas).
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong focus on data quality and attention to detail.
- Flexible individual capable of multi-task assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in Business Analysis, Database Administration (Installation, backup, restoration, security management, performance tuning, and data replication in Oracle and/or SQL Server)
- Exposure to building architecture, construction or engineering.
- Familiar with Visual Studio .NET.
- Bilingual in English and French.
